Ordering

How do I order or get a quote from you?

You can either send me an email or fill in the get a quote form and I’ll reply to you within 24 hours. For more urgent orders, please feel free to contact me on my mobile.

How far in advance do I need to book a cake with you?

We recommend booking the sooner the better to reserve your place on our calendar. This is because at Frosty Cakes Co, we need the time to conceptualize your design, and we only bake the cakes in small batches to ensure freshness and great tasting. We definitely attempt to accommodate last minute requests if our schedule allows. Please call or email us to find out our availability for your particular date.

Can I cancel my order after ordering?

Yes you can, however your deposit will not be refunded. Please understand that, our slots are very limited and when you book it, it means there will be limited slots available. This is especially so for weekends. Taking up a slot means that we will have to reject some customers who are interested in taking up that slot, and if you give it up, it also means that we have lost a sales opportunity should that slot be given up to someone else and it’s not easy to get another customer to fill up the slot.

Storage

How do I store the cake or leftovers? How long can I keep it for?

Our cakes are temperature sensitive. It depends on the time of the year and the weather of the day. To enjoy them fully, do consider the following care instructions!

Buttercream Cakes:
Most of the time, I would recommend for buttercream cakes to keep it in the fridge before any event if it more than a day. However it is not necessary to refrigerate the cake if you are using it on the day of your event.

Fondant Cakes:
For fondant cakes, I do not recommend the fridge because When fondant cakes are taken out of the fridge, the drastic change in temperature between that in the refrigerator and room temperature will allow condensation on the cake and result in something we called “sweating”.

Leftovers:
Because our cakes made fresh on the day of the event. We highly recommend that you keep the slices cake in a air-tight container in the fridge and for maximum of 1 week to ensure it’s freshness. If you would to freeze it and defrost the cake at room temperature is alright too!

As a rule of-the-thumb, Our cakes are best consumed on the day of delivery or pick up. We do not guarantee that all our products maintain their original taste after 2 days from delivery or purchased. Therefore, we will not be liable for natural product changes in aesthetics and end product characteristics and taste.
